Kolby grew up living with many symptoms that you can’t see from the outside. He grew up struggling with depression, severe anxiety, multiple bouts of strep, acne, digestive issues, psoriasis, POTS and chemical sensitivities. He's struggled to keep weight on for years as well.
In 2020 he got hit with Covid and his symptoms accelerated. He suddenly was dealing with MCAS (mast cell activation syndrome) and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome along with multiple severe neurological issues, forcing him to quit his job as a successful Hospice Liaison.
Over the last few years he's been almost 100% bedbound, relying on the help of others for income and to take care of him physically on a daily basis. He’s fought hard for his health, and his journey hasn’t looked like most. He's tried to push healing protocols, but his body is so sensitive that he can only go so fast, and he recently had to pull back quite a bit & change things up.
The good news is his body is responding well and he’s gaining weight again. And weight means strength right now. Luckily he has two caregivers that work with him daily, but he's losing his main source of financial aid, so he's at severe risk of losing his main caregiver, Tracy's, help completely.
We're fighting to get his Patreon to $1000 a month. We are almost halfway there. This would be a steady income for him which would help tremendously.
